Book 1 of the Regret Series

"This has been in my TBR forever and I have no idea why I let it sit for so long. I absolutely loved this story. There was angst, humor, a roll with the punches heroine with a backbone that would make you weep. I love the found family and the message of redemption and value of community. I love that in addition to fixing the relationship, the couple was willing to use their bond and influence to fix the wrongs around them that originally kept them apart. Character development actually mattered and was enjoyable to read even with the growing pains. I cannot recommend this duet enough."
